Master Bath... the long wait...

See how the "bath" is separate from the vanities. The bath had double doors off a dual vanity "dressing" space.  Inside the "bath" is a toilet we didn't move, a sunken bath which we raise to normal height, and a shower stall that was demoed. We opted for a custom shower which you'll see in the picts. Below are the only pictures I have of before. Oh well. Can you see the paint on the wall in the bath? I guess they were trying out paint colors. It is kind of close to the color we went with....

And then we ripped all of the bath out! Kept the vanities. Oh and I came up with the idea to put a transome window in. Those are the ones that are in more traditional east coast homes. Its an interior window, usually over a doorway. We have high ceilings and I thought it would help get more light in the dressing area. 

 

These pictures already have the new bathtub installed. We moved it to be against the left wall, not centered like the sunken was.

 Yes. that is new carpet compared with the old picture.

 This is where the shower was. Some leaking is apparent where the shelf cut out was.

Something New

Ok, We found a few new projects. Not that they were hard to find. First I will show you pictures of the closed in patio off the office. The previous tenants used it as a smoking room. First you get the cool groovy picts. I'll wait a while to post the finished ones, well, because we haven't finished, but soon...

 Yes, that is AstroTurf.

 This is the sliding glass door that leads to the room we use as an office. The tenant's used the room as the dinning room.

So much accomplished!

Took a long time, about 2 months to design and 10 weeks to build. We love it!

Almost a Kitchen!

Not too much to say except, "its almost finished"!!!

Painting and chandelier.

       Here are some pictures of us painting. Well, I should say us, since I didn't paint. I watched children while Tom and my parents painted.  In this group of pictures there is also a picture of the light on the stairway. You can see we replaced it and I love the new one!

Tom just loves painting, in flip flops.

We had the popcorn removed first. You can see the old windows below too. The new ones are white and framed with molding. 

Hard to see, but its the old light. I think Spencer may have taken this picture.
