We are excited to share the progress.

This picture shows the back yard while Manny was working on the deck and our master bedroom windows. You can see the old painted wood railing. The second one below shows the new deck construction. We ended up going with Trex so the sun and termites wouldn't destroy it.

tada!

I love the deck so much! The railings are awesome.

You can see the new fence below. Love it!

This is where the waterfall will be. The rocks help us visualize where the pond and waterfall will be and it keeps ups motivated.

Boy's Bathroom

Kind of hard to take pictures of this bathroom because it is the standard 8'x5'.  I'm really happy with the tile chose.  The glass tile changes color in the different light. Sometimes it looks like it is warm colors like brown and yellows, then you'll get a shimmer of bright blue, pink and purple.

Finished bathrooms

Two bathrooms almost at the same time.  First I'll show you the master.. than the boy's bath.

I will never have to look at tile at Home Depot or Lowes again!!!

Master Bath... the long wait...

OLD...
See how the "bath" is separate from the vanities. The bath had double doors off a dual vanity "dressing" space.  Inside the "bath" is a toilet we didn't move, a sunken bath which we raise to normal height, and a shower stall that was demoed. We opted for a custom shower which you'll see in the picts. Below are the only pictures I have of before. Oh well. Can you see the paint on the wall in the bath? I guess they were trying out paint colors. It is kind of close to the color we went with....

And then we ripped all of the bath out! Kept the vanities. Oh and I came up with the idea to put a transome window in. Those are the ones that are in more traditional east coast homes. Its an interior window, usually over a doorway. We have high ceilings and I thought it would help get more light in the dressing area.

These pictures already have the new bathtub installed. We moved it to be against the left wall, not centered like the sunken was.

Yes. that is new carpet compared with the old picture.
This is where the shower was. Some leaking is apparent where the shelf cut out was.
